In a desperate attempt to dismiss newly declassified revelations about the Russia collusion hoax, Sanner accused the Trump administration of aiding Russia by releasing damning evidence that implicates the Obama administration in one of the greatest political scandals in U.S. history.
Sanner’s latest meltdown came after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified a bombshell 2020 House Intelligence Committee report, which exposed the deep-state plot to undermine Trump with fabricated allegations of Russian collusion. Instead of acknowledging the truth, Sanner lashed out, claiming the Trump administration was “cherry-picking” intelligence to suit a narrative—a laughable accusation coming from the same network that spent years pushing the debunked Steele dossier.
“What I don’t appreciate is that these are cherry-picked examples that they are quibbling, angels dancing on the head of a pin when we have volumes of reporting,” Sanner ranted. “You’re always going to find one report that’s different, OK, whatever.”
The irony is staggering. For years, CNN and their allies in the intelligence community cherry-picked, leaked, and distorted classified information to fuel the Russia hoax, all while ignoring exculpatory evidence that proved Trump’s innocence. Now that the tables have turned, and the truth is finally coming to light, they’re throwing a tantrum.
This is the same network that relentlessly pushed the narrative that Trump was a Kremlin puppet, despite zero evidence. Even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation found no collusion, CNN refused to let go of their conspiracy theories. Now, with Gabbard’s revelations exposing how Obama-era officials weaponized intelligence agencies against Trump, CNN is once again deflecting, this time by absurdly claiming that exposing the truth is somehow “helping Russia.”
The reality is that President Trump and his administration have been vindicated at every turn. The declassified documents prove that the Russia collusion narrative was a politically motivated sham designed to overturn the 2016 election and cripple his presidency. Yet, instead of admitting their role in this disgraceful charade, CNN would rather gaslight the American people by pretending that exposing corruption is an act of treason.
