Watch: Giuliani’s Son Speak Up About FBI Raid And The ‘Politicization’ Of The DOJ

Former Trump lawyer and mayor of New York was slapped in the face by an FBI raid at both his home and law firm. His son brought up some surprising details about the raid and urged all Americans to pay attention stating that if this can happen to the lawyer to the President, it can happen to anyone.

Andrew Giuliani said the raid was absolutely politically motivated. Adding that the only thing incriminating in his father’s belongs was the laptop that reportedly belonged to president Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. He noted that that was the only thing the feds didn’t take.

“This is disgusting. This is absolutely absurd. And it’s the continued politicization of the Justice Department, as we have seen,” Giuliani said outside his father’s swank Manhattan apartment building on East 66th Street.

“And it has to stop. If this can happen to the former president’s lawyer, this can happen to any American. Enough is enough.”

The raid was reportedly tied to an investigation into whether Giuliani illegally lobbied former Trump on behalf of officials and oligarchs in Ukraine while the former mayor was there trying to dig up dirt against then-candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

Andrew, who is considering a run for New York governor — also repeated his dad’s assertion that the feds refused to take copies of Hunter Biden’s computer hard drive that were in Rudy’s possession.

“The only piece of evidence that they did not take up there today was the only piece of incriminating evidence that is in there,” he said.

In October, Fox News first reported that the FBI subpoenaed a laptop and hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden in connection with a money-laundering investigation in late-2019.

“And it does not belong to my father. It belongs to the current president’s son”. Hunter Biden, in December, confirmed he was under federal investigations for his “tax affairs.”

Following his brief remarks, Andrew started walking inside when a reporter shouted out that a judge had signed the warrant.“I’ll answer that. An Obama-era judge signed off on that!” he said.

Giuliani’s own attorney, Robert Costello, said that seven FBI agents arrived at the apartment around 6 am, Wednesday. He noted they searched for around 2 hours and took all sorts of electronics, including other laptops, cell phones, and tablets. Which makes you wonder why leave Biden’s laptop? It sounds like they knew who it belonged to.

The FBI told Fox News Wednesday that they have no comment on the search warrant, and the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York has declined to comment as well.

“This is totally unnecessary,” Costello told Fox News, claiming that the raid was done to “make him look like he’s some sort of criminal.”

Another possible motive to think about is that Andrew Giuliani is considering a run for governor of New York next year, he told The Post on Wednesday.Giuliani would go toe-to-toe with Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the three-term Democrat currently mired in a torrent of scandals involving sexual misconduct and his handling of nursing homes.
