Greg Gutfeld delivered a blistering takedown of his liberal co-host Jessica Tarlov on The Five after she attempted to dismiss the explosive new revelations about the Russiagate hoax while deflecting to the Epstein scandal. Tarlov’s desperate pivot—reminiscent of the left’s tired “but her emails!” deflection—was met with Gutfeld’s righteous fury as he exposed the left’s years-long deception and selective outrage.
Tarlov whined, “It’s preposterous that we were talking about Hillary Clinton’s emails again in 2025,” to which Gutfeld fired back, “We have no choice. We spent years on this story.” When Tarlov feigned ignorance, Gutfeld dismantled her narrative with facts: “We had to take this story seriously for years, and it was false.” Tarlov, clinging to the left’s crumbling Russiagate fantasy, weakly protested, “It wasn’t false.” But Gutfeld wasn’t having it.
He laid out the truth in no uncertain terms: “When Trump won in 2016, the intel community concluded that Russia didn’t have a hand in his victory. Instead of accepting the conclusion, Obama determined and wanted a new conclusion, so he sent Brennan running to come up with a new collusion.” The media, acting as Democrat operatives, ran with this fabricated narrative, smearing Trump as a Putin puppet for years without a shred of evidence.
Tarlov’s hypocrisy reached new heights when she tried to shut down the conversation, as if the American people don’t deserve the truth. Gutfeld called her out: “They amplified a false conclusion that Trump colluded with Russia in 2016. We had to spend years dealing with that, and now we’re actually getting investigation, and you’re saying, ‘No, you know what, you guys should just move on.’”
This is the same liberal media that spent four years gaslighting the public about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, only to now plead for everyone to “look forward” once the truth is undeniable. Gutfeld nailed it: “You covered up for an invalid. And then when we get the truth, it’s like, ‘Oh, you know what? It’s time. We got to look forward.’”
