Watch: KJP Confronted on Biden’s Notecards, Loses Her Mind!

Karine Jean-Pierre’s responses to questions in the press room are often evasive. On Tuesday, she faced a different problem, as she got angry when a reporter asked about Biden’s reliance on notecards for public appearances.

The clip from X captures the moment when Jean-Pierre lost her temper over the question. A reporter from Fox News, Ed Lawrence, asked Karine about Biden’s use of notecards at two different events. She failed to address this question directly. Instead, she provoked Lawrence by asking why he was upset about the notecards.

Lawrence, not willing to avoid the real question, said angrily: “Why does he rely so heavily on notecards?”

Jean-Pierre responded condescendingly saying, “The president who has had probably one of the most successful first three years of an administration than any modern day president, he?s done more in the first three years than most presidents who had two terms, you?re asking me about notecards?”

When a second reporter interrupted her, Jean-Pierre got even more irritated. The other reporter, James, told her to “just answer his question!”

Jean-Pierre snapped back, saying; “I?m not speaking to you right now, James, I?m talking to your friend over here, Ed … but thank you so much for interjecting.”

Repeating the same pattern she follows whenever a reporter brings up concerns about the president’s abilities- sarcasm and condescension— Jean-Pierre continued to provide non-answers. She insulted reporters she disagreed with, behaving more like a schoolteacher than a press secretary.
Jean-Pierre’s behavior towards reporters who ask about Biden’s notecards is becoming a pattern. She becomes defensive and easily triggered, especially when the questions come from conservative outlets like Fox News and are asked by well-known reporters like Peter Doocy.

There is a reason behind this reaction. Biden does not use notecards for formal, prepared speeches, where their presence is expected. Instead, he uses them for simple conversations and even for informal events such as talk show appearances. This reliance on notecards signals to the public that Biden may not be capable of carrying out his duties without significant assistance.

Instead of addressing these concerns, Jean-Pierre’s defense mechanism is to deflect with sarcasm and condescension. She tries to make reporters look silly for asking straightforward questions about Biden’s competence. It makes one wonder if Jean-Pierre may be in the wrong profession if she is easily agitated by simple questions.
