Watch Mayorkas Hit With The Truth: ‘You Should Be FIRED!’

It’s appalling that the Biden administration has failed to take action to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, allowing it to become a haven for deadly drug traffickers.

At a recent Senate Oversight Committee hearing, Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn grilled Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the growing fentanyl crisis, accusing him of failing to address the drug crisis and calling for his termination.

“You haven’t been fired. You should be fired,” Cornyn said. “Because you were carrying out the policies of the Biden administration, and we’ve seen nothing but death and destruction as a result.”

It’s outrageous that Secretary Mayorkas refused to take responsibility and apologize to the families of overdose victims. Instead of making excuses and passing the buck, he should have taken action to combat the drug crisis. But it’s even more outrageous that the Biden administration has done nothing to stop it.

The transcript from the Senate hearing speaks for itself:

Sen. Cornyn: “Do you have any apologies for the families of those who have been killed by fentanyl that has been smuggled across this border?

Mayorkas: “I do not.”

It’s clear that the Biden administration isn’t taking the drug crisis seriously, and they are failing the American people. They need to crack down on cartels and traffickers and provide resources to those affected by their negligence. It’s time for them to step up and take responsibility for the crisis they have created.

The Biden administration has shown a complete lack of leadership on this issue and it’s costing lives. Secretary Mayorkas needs to be held accountable for his inaction, and the administration needs to take responsibility for the failure to secure the border.

It’s time for them to take this crisis seriously and take action to stop the drug trafficking at the border.
