Watch: MSM’s Epic Meltdown Over Trump’s Market Wins, Can’t Even Get A Real Expert On To Talk About It!

In a desperate attempt to lend credibility to its failing economic narrative, MSNBC’s Morning Joe committed a spectacular act of journalistic malpractice on Friday. With no legitimate experts willing to defend their floundering position, the liberal program turned to a sports commentator for analysis of high-stakes fiscal policy.

Substitute host Katty Kay, revealing the show’s blatant bias, invited former ESPN podcaster Pablo Torre to comment on two pillars of President Donald Trump’s successful agenda. Kay asked Torre to weigh in on “President Trump’s attempt to oust Lisa Cook as a member of the Federal Reserve, and the President’s plan to send federal agents to Chicago to increase arrests of what Kay called ‘unauthorized immigrants.’”

This choice of “expert” is a stunning indictment of the liberal media’s hollow echo chamber. When faced with the robust success of President Trump’s America First economic policies, they are forced to consult a man whose core competency is debating athletic statistics, not monetary ones.

In a moment of pure projection, Kay even asked Torre to explain “why, in response to Trump’s efforts to remove Cook, the dollar and the markets ‘haven’t tanked in the way that some people thought they might be?’” This question reveals everything. The left hoped for market collapse to damage the President, yet were once again confounded by the strength of his leadership and the resilience of the economy he rebuilt.

Unsurprisingly, Torre delivered“meandering mess of a commentary.” He flailed about, twice mentioning “lag” in the impact of Trump’s policies, a feeble attempt to explain away their immediate and powerful success. His rambling thoughts were so incoherent that he himself admitted to feeling like he’s taking “crazy pills, again.”

The segment descended into utter pathos when a “plaintive Pablo described himself as being ‘In New York by myself on a Friday before Labor Day weekend. It’s very lonely here.’” Kay’s attempt to comfort him, saying, “I’m so sorry you’re all alone. It does something to you, being solitary up in the studio,” was a fittingly pathetic coda to the entire embarrassing spectacle.

This incident is a perfect microcosm of the liberal media’s decay. While President Trump appoints stalwarts to defend the dollar and secure our borders, his opponents are left with lonely sports podcasters, muttering about “crazy pills” and begging for comfort on national television. The other panelists, actual journalists like Sam Stein and David Ignatius, must have been inwardly groaning, wondering “Why the heck is this sports guy being asked to opine on subjects that we actually know something about?!”

The answer is simple: the Trump administration’s wins are so undeniable that the only person the liberal media could find to question them was wholly unqualified to do so.
