Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently confirmed that he and his family had flown on accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s plane twice in the 1990s, calling for records on the infamous financier to “be open to the public” during an interview on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
The former lawyer admitted that he had traveled on Epstein’s jet before anyone knew of his “nefarious issues,” acknowledging that he took a flight from Florida to Palm Beach with his wife and two children to visit his mother over Easter in 1993, and with his family a second time to Rapid City South Dakota, to go on a fossil hunting trip.
Kennedy Jr. argues that there should be no redactions in the records of Epstein’s flight logs, as they should be “absolutely transparent” for public knowledge, expressing his outrage at the idea of such information being “hidden from the American public.”
According to Fox News, Republican Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn had previously requested for the full records of Epstein’s flight logs to be released to the public in early November, however, her subpoena was eventually denied. Blackburn emphasized the importance of these records in order to “identify everyone who could have participated in [Epstein’s] horrific conduct.”
Epstein was awaiting trial for sex trafficking and conspiracy charges in July 2019, before he killed himself in August 2019. The BBC reported that Epstein had previously been convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Kennedy Jr.’s admission has reignited public scrutiny and discussion of Epstein’s activities, raising further concerns regarding the way in which the accused pedophile managed to evade the law for so long.
As justice in the case continues to be called for, Kennedy Jr. asserts that the records of Epstein’s flight logs should be available for public scrutiny, claiming that such available information is necessary to understand how and why “high-level political people” were associated with Epstein’s predatory behavior.
“We should get real answers on what happened to Jeffrey Epstein and any of the high-level political people that he was involved with,” Kennedy Jr. said. “All of that should be open to the public. It should be absolutely transparent.”
I’m not sure what to think about RFK’s admission but I fully agree with him, the logs need to be released. There is absolutely no reason that isn’t public knowledge. People need to be investigated and held accountable.
