Former porn star Stormy Daniels once claimed to have had an affair with Donald Trump, a story that initially captivated the media. However, as she continues to make partisan comments attacking the former president and his supporters, Daniels’ credibility has been significantly diminished.
During her appearance on ABC’s “The View,” Daniels discussed her involvement in Trump’s “hush money” case, which is set to go to trial on April 15. Despite her accusations against the former president, Daniels couldn’t resist taking jabs at Trump supporters. However, her comments crossed a line and sparked outrage among viewers.
According to Daniels, she received hate messages and criticism from Trump supporters after going public with her allegations against the former president. She even claimed to have received messages from Trump supporters who revealed their real phone numbers. But instead of acknowledging that this type of behavior is unacceptable, Daniels labeled all Trump supporters as “suicide bombers” who believe they are being patriotic by attacking her.
Comparing the mean texts she received to the actions of terrorists is not only offensive, but it also shows how out of touch Daniels is with reality. To group all Trump supporters together and equate their actions to suicide bombers is not only inaccurate, but it also shows her lack of understanding of the diverse group of Americans who supported the former president.
It’s not surprising that Daniels doesn’t have much credibility left. She lost her initial libel suit against Trump and was ordered to pay his legal fees. In addition, she has changed her story multiple times, including signing a statement denying the alleged affair even happened. As a result, it’s no wonder that many people no longer take Daniels and her claims seriously.
If Daniels truly wanted the hatred to end, she should have avoided antagonizing a large group of Americans who voted for Trump. By insulting and belittling them, she’s only creating more division and animosity. Not to mention, it’s clear that her intention is to continue to cash in on her alleged affair with Trump, even if it means exploiting the tension and animosity between the two sides.
Given Daniels’ actions and comments, it’s evident that her claims against Trump are driven by greed rather than a genuine desire for justice. Despite the lack of evidence to support her allegations, she continues to use her story to gain publicity and media attention. But as her credibility continues to diminish, fewer and fewer people will take her seriously.
