Texas Senator Ted Cruz accused Democrats of blocking the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs. He claimed that the Democrats were “freaking out” and that they were covering up for prominent politicians who were involved in molesting young girls. According to Cruz, Democrats, like Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin, were unwilling to hand over the flight logs and were denying knowledge of the matter. However, Cruz pointed out that Durbin was present at the hearings where the issue was addressed.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity asked Cruz why Durbin would be hesitant to release the logs. Cruz replied by stating that he believes the Democrats are “freaking out” because they do not want the public to know the truth about who was on those flights. He suggested that there could be prominent politicians involved in the same activities as Epstein and the Democrats were protecting them.
Cruz also mentioned a disturbing detail that has been circulating in the media – a painting found in Epstein’s Manhattan living room. He described it as “horrible” and “traumatizing” and then invited Hannity to google it. According to Cruz, the painting depicted former President Bill Clinton in a blue dress and red high heels. This piece of information leads Cruz to believe that the Democrats are particularly reluctant to release the flight logs because they are afraid of what they might find.
In late November, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn accused Durbin and other Senate Democrats of blocking her request to subpoena the flight logs. She claimed that they were avoiding a conversation about the Jeffrey Epstein case and were not interested in finding out the names of individuals involved in the trafficking ring. Fellow Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett expressed similar sentiments in a letter to the House Oversight Committee, urging Chairman James Comer to subpoena the logs. However, a Democrat aide responded to these claims, stating that Durbin was willing to allow Republicans to offer and debate their 177 amendments. The aide also accused Blackburn of filibustering and preventing the first amendment from being offered.
In light of these accusations, it is clear that there is a divide between Republicans and Democrats concerning the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs. Republicans are pushing for the information to be made public in order to uncover the truth about who was involved in Epstein’s illegal activities. On the other hand, Democrats, like Dick Durbin, seem to be hesitant and possibly even complicit in the cover-up.
This raises suspicions about their involvement in the scandal and their true motivations for blocking the release of the logs. As Ted Cruz stated, “If you are covering up for someone who is engaged in molesting children, we’re going to expose it.” The American people deserve to know the truth about what happened on those flights and who may have played a role in enabling Epstein’s horrific crimes.
