The liberal media has been forced to eat their words as they confess their biggest blunders of 2024. From MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow to businessman and television personality Mark Cuban, a number of media leaders have come forward to admit their wrong predictions and biases in a shocking Semafor article.
One of the most common mistakes was underestimating the impact of inflation on politics, as NBC News President Rebecca Blumenstein found out. However, the biggest faux pas seemed to revolve around the mental acuity of President Joe Biden, with many admitting they were “completely, utterly, totally, embarrassingly wrong.”
Progressive British-American broadcaster Mehdi Hasan, known for his anti-Trump rhetoric, said, “Like many others, I was completely, utterly, totally, embarrassingly wrong about [President Joe] Biden’s lack of mental competence.” This comes after Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race in July, following a disastrous debate performance and numerous instances of mental lapses.

The White House and the corporate media have worked tirelessly to downplay concerns over Biden’s mental health, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre even claiming a video of the president wandering away from world leaders at the G7 Summit was a “cheap fake” orchestrated by Republicans. Even MSNBC’s Morning Joe and CNN’s Bakari Sellers jumped to the president’s defense, dismissing claims about his mental acuity as “outrageous” and suggesting there was no reason to doubt his ability to serve for another four years.
Other media figures, such as The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg and MSNBC analyst Mike Barnicle, also faced backlash for dismissing concerns about Biden’s cognitive decline. Former CNN political analyst Chris Cillizza and talk show host Brian Lehrer have since apologized for not investigating the issue sooner and admitting they were wrong to dismiss it as “ageism.”
The media’s biased coverage and failure to properly address concerns over Biden’s mental health serve as further evidence of their clear agenda against former President Donald Trump. As the media continues to admit their errors, it’s clear that Trump’s warnings about the liberal media’s attacks were warranted.
