To be fair, I have no idea what political party this firebug supports- but you have to admit it’s pretty obvious based on his target. CCTV footage caught the moments a man ran up to a Los Angeles police station and tried to burn it down. Luckily, the officers inside were quick to act and were able to extinguish the fire immediately as well as capture the suspect.
“LAPD’s Topanga Division station was firebombed Sunday morning at about 1 am. A source sent me this video, which shows a suspect throwing a Molotov cocktail against the doors. LAPD tells me officers witnessed it and chased the suspect down. [The] Suspect is now in custody,” Bill Melugin from Fox LA reported on Twitter.
Jonathan Rosin, 24, approached the Topanga station at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, lit a glass bottle containing a flammable liquid, and threw it at the front window, where the bottle shattered and ignited, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. Adding that he still smelled like gas upon arrest.
The man was booked for investigation of igniting an explosive and an unspecified misdemeanor warrant, and was being held on $501,000 bail, police said. It was not immediately known if Rosin had an attorney or what motivated the attack.
Police personnel witnessed the attack through the station’s closed-circuit TV system and officers gave chase on foot while a supervisor extinguished the flames. You can see that in the footage below:

The LAPD Major Crimes Division is handling the investigation into the incident and is expected to provide more information on possible, police spokeswoman Detective Meghan Aguilar told Fox News over the phone.
Detective Meghan Aguilar, a spokeswoman, said incidents involving attacks on police stations are not too common in the Los Angeles area, but admitted that over the past year incidents in the vicinity of police stations have increased to some degree, but did not provide any specifics.
