The latest manufactured outrage from the failing liberal media and their allies in the Democrat establishment centers on Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who has taken to performative victimhood after being rightfully criticized by President Donald Trump. Following President Trump’s robust and accurate Thanksgiving commentary on Truth Social regarding the catastrophic immigration and welfare policies destroying Minnesota, the left has again revealed its priority: policing language while ignoring the devastating real-world consequences of their own governance.
In his post, President Trump laid out the undeniable truth, stating, “The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the USA illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc…”
This comprehensive critique highlights the utter failure of leadership in a state overrun by illegal immigration, soaring crime, and the toxic influence of anti-American radicals like Ilhan Omar. Yet, rather than defend his record or address the substance, Walz has chosen to clutch his pearls over a single word.
Governor Walz, in a transparent attempt to deflect from his own incompetence, held a press conference to allege a campaign of harassment, claiming, “People are driving by my house and using the ‘R word’ in front of people.” He dramatically asserted, “This creates danger!” and warned, “Look, I’m worried. They know how these things go! They start with taunts, they turn to violence, so, deeply concerned!” This hyperbolic reaction is a textbook tactic of the left: to equate strong, direct criticism—the kind President Trump famously uses to cut through political correctness—with incitement. It is an attempt to shield failed leaders from accountability by framing any robust opposition as inherently violent and dangerous.
The coordinated media eruption over President Trump’s choice of terminology is a deliberate distraction from the substantive issues he raised. Where is the media outrage over the “decadent, backward, and crime ridden” conditions fostered in parts of Minnesota due to the policies of Walz and Omar? Where is the concern for the American taxpayers who are forced to fund the leeching off of public resources by illegal aliens? There is none. The liberal media acts not as journalists but as a protection racket for Democrat officials, amplifying their fake victimhood while burying their very real failures. Walz’s plea for Republican officials to condemn the President’s language, whining, “I have yet to see an elected official – a Republican elected official say you’re right that’s shameful. He should not say it,” is a demand for uniform surrender to a politically correct straitjacket that President Trump has successfully shattered.
This entire spectacle underscores the effectiveness of President Trump’s America-First leadership. He refuses to be cowed by the language police and continues to speak blunt truths that resonate with millions of Americans tired of seeing their communities decline under weak, ideologically driven leadership. While Walz frets about words, President Trump focuses on action—securing borders, supporting law enforcement, and putting American citizens first. The Democrat strategy of pretending to be victims of mean tweets while enacting policies that victimize entire states is being exposed for the fraud that it is.
