The left’s long-running deception about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline has finally come crashing down, and even progressive allies are now turning on the Democrats and media figures who perpetuated the lie. Senator Elizabeth Warren, one of Biden’s most vocal defenders, found herself in the hot seat when left-wing podcaster Sam Fragoso confronted her over her past claims that Biden was “sharp” and mentally fit—a narrative that has since been exposed as pure fiction.
During the exchange, Fragoso pressed Warren on her repeated insistence that Biden was mentally acute, even as evidence of his decline became impossible to ignore. “Do you regret saying that President Biden had a mental acuity, he had a sharpness to him?” Fragoso asked. “You said that up until July of last year.” Warren, scrambling to defend herself, weakly replied, “I said what I believed to be true.” But Fragoso wasn’t letting her off the hook, firing back: “You did not see any decline from 2024 Joe Biden to 2021 Joe Biden?”
Warren’s feeble attempts to justify her claims were nothing short of pathetic. “I said I had not seen decline,” she stammered. “And I hadn’t at that point.” She then resorted to praising Biden for simply being able to function at a basic level, saying, “He was sharp. He was on his feet. I saw him [at a] live event. I had meetings with him a couple of times.” But Fragoso wasn’t buying it, delivering the knockout blow: “Senator, ‘on his feet’ is not praise. ‘He can speak in sentences’ is not praise.”
