She must be an outstanding poker player to just tell such a bald-faced lie. MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace made such a ridiculous claim. She said 95% of Americans will agree with what Biden said about Afghanistan… I think we can all agree it was a huge screw-up. But that’s not what Biden said and many Dems/Libs are praising him for his horribly planned evacuation from the country.
Wallace’s claim:
“95% of the American people will agree with everything [President Biden] just said. 95% of the press covering this White House will disagree, and for an American president to finally be completely aligned with such an overwhelming majority of what the American people think about Afghanistan is probably a tremendous relief to the American people,” Wallace claimed.

“According to FiveThirtyEight’s tracker, which puts together a weighted average of polling, the president’s approval rating is 50 percent.
The figure, as of August 13, marked the lowest point the tracker has hit thus far since Biden was inaugurated. His disapproval rating of 43.8 percent is also at its highest point so far.”
So where is this statistic coming from?
And Wallace is saying she agrees with the following?
“Kabul was entered by the Taliban on Sunday. Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani fled the country, and many others have attempted to follow. Footage has shown people fall to their deaths having tried to hold on to departing U.S. military aircraft in their desperation to leave.
A Taliban official said they will soon announce the renaming of the country to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.”
When Biden claimed things wouldn’t end up like this.
“Previous comments from Biden have been brought into question. On announcing the August 31 withdrawal date, he said he did not think a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan was inevitable.
He also said there would be “no circumstance” people would be airlifted from the embassy in Afghanistan. This resurfaced on social media after images did show people being taken by helicopter from the consulate in Kabul.”
Wallace can try all she wants, but she can not sugar coat this disaster-level screw-up. There are currently thousands of Americans struggling to get out of the country. Biden practically gift-wrapped the country for the Taliban and then left them, hostages, if they were interested.
