It’s hard to fathom the lengths to which activists on the Left will go to push their agenda-even targeting our children. Take, for example, the news of Seattle public schools offering “gender-affirming care” for children as young as 10, for FREE. Parents are understandably outraged, as the phrase “gender-affirming care” is actually a euphemism for providing hormone therapy and sex-change surgeries to minors.
Country Doctor Community Health Centers, offering these surgeries and treatments, have set up camp in both Meany Middle School and Nova High School in Seattle. The center advertises its mission to “promote health in transgender, non-binary and gender diverse communities” meaning they provide hormone therapy, puberty blockers and referrals for surgical procedures such as vaginoplasties and chest reductions.
In other words, these centers feed mental health issues with false promises of change, and permanently alter young bodies and lives in a detrimental manner. What’s worse is that the schools have offered free services for students without insurance, and Seattle Public School District may not require parental consent for “care.” This blatant disregard for parental choice leaves families in a helpless situation.
A former teacher points to how schools have overstepped their boundaries during the pandemic especially since students are already falling behind academically. Now, schools not only fail to provide a proper education but also encourage the transgender lifestyle and allow minors to change their bodies without asking for parental permission.
Investigative fellow Alex Nester pointed out the obvious, “Schools aren’t parents, and they aren’t doctor offices.” Sadly, these recent developments have only reminded us of how important it is to homeschool our kids in order to protect them from agendas that go beyond the walls of the classroom. There is no denying it: mutilating children with gender-affirming care is a whole new evil.
It’s one thing to offer these services to legal adults, but to children and they’re forcing taxpayers to pick up the bill? Despicable.
