If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wasn’t power-drunk before, she surely is now that her Democrat minions now hold the majority in both the House and Senate. The only thing that stands in the Democrat’s way of absolute control is that pesky filibuster policy, and Pelosi is certainly working hard to have it removed.
Democrats are also considering overturning an Iowa election where Rep. Mariannette Jane Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, defeated Democratic opponent Rita Hart by just six votes. Biden’s press secretar6y Jen Psaki defended Democrats for openly considering to override an election.
Psaki claimed that Democrats are following the necessary process “to ensure that every vote is counted,” Psaki said during a presser today. Her remarks come a day after Pelosi told reporters it is her “right” not to seat Miller-Meeks.
“I wanted to be fair. If I wanted to be unfair, I wouldn’t have seated the Republican from Iowa because that was my right on the opening day. I would have just said, ‘You’re not seated.’ And that would have been my right as Speaker to do,” said Pelosi.
Who is she kidding? ‘Fair’ is not in the California Democrats’ vocabulary. That’s obvious by the deplorable conditions in her own State where it’s the poor vs rich. Pelosi can tell her supporters that she posses some sort of moral standing by not invoking this so-called ‘right’ previously, but we all know the truth. If Pelosi were to ‘unseat’ a member of Congress without justifiable reason, Republicans would bring her up on impeachment charges for abuse of power.
Watch
Democrats have been calling for Pelosi to throw her weight around in efforts to block any lawmakers that might support Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda. Back in December, Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) is asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to refuse to seat members of the next Congress who back President Trump’s effort to challenge the election.
“Today I’m calling on House leaders to refuse to seat any Members trying to overturn the election and make Donald Trump an unelected dictator,” Pascrell wrote in a tweet.
