The brave little libs on The View sucked up their fears and actually took on big-mouthed Whoopi Goldberg after she lied about Justice Clarence Thomas. Goldberg claimed that Thomas, who is married to a white woman, has plans to outlaw interracial relationships.
“Democrats seem to be running on is also protecting everyone’s rights regardless. Whoever you love or whoever you’re married to, or if you’re married, I don’t know. But they’re trying to make sure that the rights you are so easily, you know, able to give away, we’re trying to hold on and say, actually, you can’t do that.,” she claimed.
The first one to correct her was sort of a shocker— Joy Behar tried, but failed to correct Whoopi on her lie:
JOY BEHAR: Clarence Thomas is not going to move on that one because his wife is white.
GOLDBERG: Well, let’s find out. He’s the one who sort of brought it up.
BEHAR: Well, he didn’t bring that one up.
GOLDBERG: Yeah, he brought that one up.
BEHAR: Did he?
GOLDBERG: Yes, he did. Yes, he did.
It was co-host Sunny Hostin who read off exactly what Thomas said and to Goldberg’s surprise—She was wrong! Did she admit it? Of course not. Instead, she blamed her co-hosts:
“No, but I’m telling you when he spoke about all the things that could go, this was one of the things he brought up. You all brought it up at the table several weeks ago!’

It’s insanely rare to see anyone on that show do anything but preach liberal propaganda. The whole reason Goldberg brought the topic up was to tell viewers to vote blue if they want to keep their rights. I was pleasantly surprised to see the costars stand up to Goldberg.
I will say this, Goldberg isn’t the first lib I have seen make the claim that Thomas plans to overturn interracial rights and I chalk this up to the media spending way too much time fear-mongering. They’re actually starting to convince themselves to believe the lies.
