The Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) sisterhood has recently admitted a male University of Wyoming student, Artemis Langford, and this move has caused an uproar among its members.
The National Panhellenic Council defines a sorority as a “single-gender organization comprised of women and individuals who identify as women”, but this doesn’t give the KKG the right to force the trans movement on its members.
The male student, referred to as “Terry Smith” throughout the complaint, has been accused of “watching” girls undress around the sorority house, according to Cowboy State Daily. He has allegedly been seen with an erection visible through his leggings, and has taken photos of the women during a slumber party.
One of the women, who didn’t know Terry had returned, turned around and took off her shirt only to find him staring at her. She also claims he repeatedly asked her about her romantic attachments and had his hands over his genitals during the encounter.
We have the BEST Legislative Intern! We were able to keep Democrats across the state informed and engaged this session in large part due to Artemis's hard work. Thank you, @ArtemisLangford!!! pic.twitter.com/oPtUZhOOGF

KKG has put its members in an uncomfortable and unsafe position, and it’s not right. The women in the sorority feel pressured to vote to admit Langford to avoid being labeled a “bigot”, and this is simply unacceptable. It’s not fair to expect young women to be forced to accept someone with a history of getting aroused when watching them undress.
KKG needs to realize that it’s not okay to put its members in a situation like this. The sorority should take steps to ensure that its members are safe and comfortable in their own home. Otherwise, these women will continue to feel unsafe and violated.
