During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mamdani took to social media to demand the government “seize” luxury homes from the wealthy to house the homeless—a blatant call for socialist confiscation that should alarm every freedom-loving American.

In a March 2020 post, Mamdani raged against so-called “oligarchs,” writing:
“The oligarchs who want us to return to work to goose the stock market are the same ones with thousands of luxury condos as investment properties, sitting empty while NYers die on the streets & in shelters.”

This isn’t just empty rhetoric—it’s a direct endorsement of wealth redistribution and government overreach, core tenets of the socialist agenda that has failed everywhere it’s been tried. While hardworking Americans were struggling during the pandemic, Mamdani was pushing radical policies that would dismantle private property rights and punish success.

Liberal Media’s Hypocrisy on Full Display

Where is the outrage from the mainstream media? If a conservative had suggested seizing private property, CNN and MSNBC would have labeled it authoritarianism. But because Mamdani wears a “D” next to his name, the liberal press gives him a pass. This double standard is exactly why President Donald Trump has been warning Americans about the dangers of the radical left.

Trump’s America-first policies stand in stark contrast to Mamdani’s socialist fantasies. While the left pushes for government takeovers, Trump champions free-market solutions that empower individuals, not bureaucrats. Under Trump’s leadership, the economy boomed, homelessness was addressed through opportunity, not handouts, and American values were upheld.

The Soros-Abedin Exemption

Of course, Mamdani’s calls for seizing property likely wouldn’t apply to his elite allies. Would he dare suggest confiscating the luxury homes of far-left power players like Alex Soros or Huma Abedin? Unlikely.
