Fanone Meltdown Shocks Jack Smith Hearing
Michael Fanone had a rough day at the Jack Smith hearing. He blew up when a reporter from LindellTV and The Gateway Pundit, Cara Castronuova, asked about his body camera on January 6.
The exchange is short and sharp. The reporter asks, “Is it true you turned off your body cam on January 6?” Fanone reacts angrily on camera. The clip rapidly circulated online and drew loud reactions from both sides.
Here’s the clip that started it all:
🔥🔥 HOLY SMOKES!! 🔥🔥

Inside the hearing, other moments added fuel. Video shows Fanone confronting a journalist and shouting during a break. Some witnesses said the scene nearly turned physical.

There’s also a clip from the hearing where Fanone directs profanity at a congressman. That moment was short, loud, and awkward for everyone in the room.
J6 disgrace Michael Fanone caughs and yells, “Go f*** yourself!” at Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) during the J6 committee hearing.
This is really who Democrats call their hero of J6? Someone who can’t even behave like an adult at a congressional hearing.

People on all sides reacted fast. Supporters of former President Trump used the clips to say J6 policing was chaotic and provoked the crowd. Others defended Fanone as a traumatized officer pushed to his limit by relentless questions and scrutiny.
The visuals are blunt. You can watch the emotions, the posture, the yelling. Whether you see a man out of control or a man pushed to the edge depends on where you stand.
Fans of the reporter praised her for asking a direct question. Critics called the approach baiting and unnecessary. The whole episode is exactly what happens when politics meets raw video and cellphones.
Finally, a note that appeared with the original reporting: “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.”
