If it wasn’t life-threatening or in some cases lethal, I would find it comical that the ONLY vaccine to come out during the Biden administration has been placed on hold. Just for the fact that Biden rushed to take credit for getting the vaccine out on the market more quickly than the previous president, Trump, had planned.
There are reasons vaccines go through vigorous testing before being released to the general public and the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is a perfect example of why.
The Federal Drug Administration as well as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention placed the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on ‘pause’ after multiple reports of patients experiencing clotting. In some cases, the reported reaction ended in death. Experts say that the chances of experiencing this life-threatening reaction are 1-in-7 million, in an attempt to downplay the damage.
J&J said in a statement that it was aware of the reports of blood clots, but that no link to its vaccine had been established. However, the company said late Tuesday it would delay the rollout of its vaccine in Europe and pause new vaccinations in its trials that are still underway until it can update its guidance on how to proceed.
The company did not make mention of the vaccine already in the public’s hands but Dr. Faucci assures the public that there will be no more vaccines administered using the Johnson & Johnson single-shot until they have more answers.
“The Biden Administration did a terrible disservice to people throughout the world allowing the FDA and CDC to call a ‘pause’ in the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine,” former President Donald Trump said in a statement today. “The results of this vaccine have been extraordinary, but now its reputation will be permanently challenged.”
Indeed. The J&J vaccine has a 66.3% effectiveness overall and has a 100% efficacy against COVID-19 hospitalization and death — which is why it should be administered. Lower death and hospitalization rates are the end-goal, not minimal side effects one may receive.
Mr. Trump hinted in his statement the real reason for the pause of J&J’s vaccinations — maybe the FDA’s preferential treatment of Pfizer, which has a competing vaccination on the market. Already, New York has said all J&J scheduled vaccinations will be replaced with Pfizer’s dose.

While Dr. Faucci is certain that those who did not experience symptoms shortly after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are not at a higher risk of developing dangerous blood clots if you experience any of the mention symptoms from the video above I would seek help immediately. It may even be advisable to just check with your doctor if you have any concerns.
I am not a medical professional. I would just much rather everyone be safe during these continually trying times.
