Officials have finally released details about a shooting that took place in front of a Supreme Court justice’s home, which left one man hospitalized. According to reports, two deputy U.S. marshals opened fire on an 18-year-old man who attempted to carjack them outside the home of Justice Sonia Sotomayor in Washington, D.C. on Friday morning.
This incident is just another example of the lawlessness that has been plaguing our cities under this weak Democratic leadership. It’s outrageous that a Supreme Court justice, a member of one of the most powerful governing bodies in our country, doesn’t feel safe enough in her own home that she needs protection from armed carjackers.
But what’s even more disgraceful is that this shooting was a result of two deputies doing their job: protecting the homes of Supreme Court justices. This is an absolute embarrassment. Our elected officials should not have to live in fear of criminals and rely on law enforcement to keep them safe in their own homes.

But this is what happens when we have progressives like Sotomayor and her fellow liberals in power. They have created a culture of lawlessness and violence, making our cities less safe for everyone. And now it’s reached the doorstep of the very people who are supposed to uphold and defend our laws.
Instead of protecting our communities and enforcing the law, Democrats like Sotomayor are more concerned with pushing their radical agenda. They are willing to turn a blind eye to the rising crime rates and the innocent lives lost, as long as it helps them score political points. But when it comes to their own safety, suddenly they’re all for law and order.
But this isn’t just about one carjacking incident outside of a Supreme Court justice’s home. This is a symptom of a much larger problem in our country. Democrats have been promoting a culture of lawlessness and disrespect for law enforcement for years now.
If US Marshall has to pull a gun on an armed assailant while in the service of protecting a SCOTUS jurist, dude/dudette/they/them/whatever should be put down. Period.

And what’s even more concerning is that these criminals are becoming more brazen and more violent. They have no fear of the law, and they have no fear of the consequences. They’re bold enough to try and carjack two armed deputies stationed outside of a Supreme Court justice’s home. What do you think they’ll do to regular citizens?
This shooting is a wake-up call for all Americans. We cannot let this behavior continue. We need to vote out these Democrats who have allowed our cities to become safe havens for criminals. It’s time to elect leaders who will stand up for law and order, and ensure the safety and security of all citizens, not just the elite.
