Did Psaki Just Start An Arms War With China?!

Reports that China now has hypersonic missiles have made their rounds and Psaki was asked to comment. She gave the odd answer that we “welcome stiff competition…” That is by no means reassuring.

AP Reporter Alexandra Jaffe.”…Can you comment on reports that China tested at nuclear-capable hypersonic missile over the summer to the surprise of U.S. officials? Are these accurate? And do these raise concerns about China’s nuclear capabilities?”

MS. PSAKI: “Well, I know General — Secretary Austin, I should say, was asked this question this morning and addressed it, but I’m not going to comment on the specific report.

I can say and would echo what he said, which is, generally speaking, we’ve made clear our concerns about the military capabilities that the PRC continues to pursue. And we have been consistent in our approach with China: We welcome stiff competition, but we not — we do not want that competition to veer into conflict. And that is certainly what we convey privately as well.”

Watch The Clip Below.

Word of the missile test stunned the US military. It came close to hitting its target after circumventing the globe — demonstrating a significant advance in China’s military capabilities, according to a report. The Chinese government claims it was a space mission, not a missile test.”

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian denied that China tested a hypersonic missile.

“This was not a missile, this was a spacecraft. This is of great significance for reducing the cost of spacecraft use,” said Zhao, who is infamous for making false statements, including suggesting the US released COVID-19 in Wuhan.”

Dems just can’t decide what they want. Psaki is constantly saying that we are not looking for a conflict with China and then claims that we are going to be in “stiff competition” with China when it comes to hypersonic missiles with nuclear capabilities… Pick a lane already. Nukes are serious business and the fact that we are backing Taiwan is also very much in conflict with what China wants. This looks like a full-blown arms race is about to begin.
