Epic: Rand Paul Takes A Two-Word Victory Lap After Fauci Emails Leak

Thanks to BuzzFeed, and believe it or not, the Washington Post— We now have thousands of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails with several already in circulation. One very telling email was how Fauci really felt about masks in early 2020, despite what he told the public. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has blown the whistle on Fauci’s garbage for months now and after this release, he took a two-word victory lap around angry liberals:

“Told you,” Paul wrote in a Tuesday tweet with the hashtag #firefauci.

He added in another tweet: “Can’t wait to see the media try to spin the Fauci FOIA emails.”

Fox News:

“Paul has repeatedly criticized Fauci on social media and in interviews for his comments on herd immunity, wearing masks even after getting the COVID-19 vaccine and his dismissal of a theory suggesting COVID-19 may have originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China that has gained more credibility among members of the media in recent weeks despite early snubbing of the idea.

Paul has also condemned Fauci’s claim made during a May 25 congressional hearing that a $600,000 federal grant from NIAID did not directly fund the lab’s gain of function research, which is research that involves modifying a virus to make it more infectious among humans.”

The Leak:

In an email to one woman in February of 2020, Fauci told her masks do not work to protect the healthy…

“Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection. The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you,” Fauci wrote. “I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low-risk location. Your instincts are correct, money is best spent on medical countermeasures such as diagnostics and vaccines.”

Paul, as well as several other lawmakers, have called for Dr. Fauci to be fired. Including Rep Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.) that said in May that he discovered that the Obama administration funneled $1.1 million to the Wuhan lab through the EcoHealth Alliance, also calling for the top scientist’s dismissal.

Reschenthaler also said he’s bothered by Fauci’s mixed messaging on mask-wearing and his dubious reports on pandemic safety precautions and believes the doctor should step down.

“He has been wrong, intentionally deceptive, and inconsistent throughout this entire pandemic. A few examples of Fauci’s failures include: claiming there was very little risk to Americans in January of 2020, opposing President Trump’s China travel ban then crediting it with saving lives, and wrongly predicting an explosion of cases in Texas after Gov. Abbott lifted the state mask mandates,” Reschenthaler told Fox News on Tuesday.

“It is long past time for Dr. Fauci to stop talking to the American public. Fauci should resign or be fired immediately.”
