Gutfeld Blasts Ilhan Omar’s SOTU Behavior

There was heat on The Five after President Donald Trump’s State of the Union. Greg Gutfeld didn’t hold back. He focused on Rep. Ilhan Omar and her reactions during the speech.

Gutfeld called out what he saw as performative anger. He said the behavior was more than politics. It was personal.

Gutfeld said, “I had to point out Ilhan Omar. She repulses me, and I’m trying to find out why, because she’s not unattractive.”

He pushed harder. He tied the attitude to a deeper hostility toward the country that welcomed her. He used blunt language to make the point.

“She has an unusual amount and kind of anger. She has no right to that level of rage in the United States of America, the country who gave her corrupt a** a new life. It’s not like she’s a homeless Vietnam vet who can’t get services and should be enraged at the government. She should be kissing the ground she walks on instead of spitting on it,” he stated…

“And her anger also reminds me of the radical who, given power, would destroy you. She would show no mercy for you if you were below her,” he expressed, adding, “The look on her face is somebody who would step on your neck instead of giving you a hand.”

Gutfeld wrapped by saying that someone with that posture shouldn’t be in leadership and that if immigration paperwork issues turn out to be real, she should face consequences. He was direct. He wanted accountability.

This taps into a bigger fight. Conservatives see Omar as a symbol of a broader problem: a confrontational brand of politics that looks for culture-war wins more than governing wins. Supporters of President Donald Trump argue his success is measured by how angry his critics get. That anger, they say, proves his policies work.

Critics will say Gutfeld went too far. Supporters will say he spoke a truth others won’t. Either way, the moment put Omar back in the spotlight and raised fresh questions about tone, loyalty, and who deserves public office.
