Hysterical Hosts Lose It Over SCOTUS, Starts Telling People What They Can’t Believe

The nutjobs on The View are the only people in history who can be this miserable while enjoying the sun in the Bahamas. The cast licked their wounds over the recent Supreme Court rulings while host Whoopi Goldberg tried to remain somewhat positive. Goldberg touted Dem’s tiny win with the heavily scaled-back gun-control reform bill.

Goldberg announced, “we didn’t want to bury a positive development out of D.C. this past weekend. President Biden signed the bipartisan gun reform bill into law.”

The crew then went on to complain about how the bill isn’t ‘enough’ and shared doubts that Democrats will ever get another shot again. “I don’t think that we’re going to see much more movement on this, especially with the way the Supreme Court is going, right? Because now you have Clarence Thomas writing an opinion that says, you know, you can have your guns anywhere. You can have them not only in your home, you can have them outside,” co-host Sunny Hostin complained.

Something in Hostin must have cracked because she then went on a huge tangent of telling Americans what they can and cannot support:

“If you truly are pro-life, you cannot be pro-life and also be pro-death penalty and be pro-guns! There’s just no way that that is consistent.”

Hostin missed the boat entirely. Being pro-life does not mean you are pro-life for murderers. It means you support the right to life of the innocent. Taking a life, depending on circumstances, will sometimes lead to losing a life. That’s just a biblical fact. The right to bear arms doesn’t interact with being pro-life or pro-death penalty. It’s the law of the land.

Hostin’s is just making connections where none exist.

Liberals seem to hate the new gun control bill. Probably because it doesn’t focus on banning guns themselves and puts a heavy amount of emphasis on mental health. Personally, I am not a fan of the Red Flag nonsense but that was at least left to State’s rights to enforce. I think the left’s upset about their new gun control bill is that the SCOTUS ruled in favor of the second amendment just days before this bill passed.

After Biden signed the bill — which includes enhanced background checks on the youngest gun buyers, provides millions for mental health services, and gives states incentive to pass red flag laws — a reporter asked whether he believed the Supreme Court was “broken,” in the wake of its decision to overturn the landmark Roe v Wade decision. “I think the Supreme Court has made some terrible decisions,” he said.
