I Know Where They All Live’: Police Arrest Poll Worker for Threats

A poll worker in Georgia has been arrested for allegedly mailing a menacing letter to election officials and threatening to bomb a polling place. Nicolas Wimbish, age 25, was apprehended by police on Monday after an investigation revealed he had a history of mental instability and a vendetta against a specific voter.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, Wimbish had a verbal altercation with a voter on October 16th. The following day, he allegedly sent a letter to the Jones County Elections Superintendent, posing as the very voter he had clashed with. In the letter, Wimbish claimed that the voter had “given him hell” and accused him of “conspiring” and “distracting” other voters at the precinct. The suspect then went on to threaten the voter and other election officials, claiming to know their personal information and whereabouts. He wrote, “I know where they all live because I found home voting addresses for all of them” and warned, “there will be consequences if they fight back.”

But Wimbish’s threats didn’t stop there. The letter also included disturbing and violent language directed towards female election officials. Referring to the letter as “a rage rape,” Wimbish allegedly wrote that they should “watch their backs” and that “boom toy” would be planted in the early vote place. His threats concluded with the chilling message, “be safe.”

As a result of this despicable act, Wimbish has been charged with several federal crimes, including mailing a bomb threat, conveying false information regarding a bomb threat, and providing false statements to the FBI. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.

This incident is yet another example of the lengths that some individuals are willing to go to in order to disrupt and discredit our democratic process. It is a testament to the dedication and hard work of law enforcement officials that they were able to apprehend Wimbish and bring him to justice.

But this case also highlights the dangerous rhetoric and actions of those who oppose President Trump and his administration. Wimbish’s threats are a result of the constant vilification and demonization of Republicans and Trump supporters by the media, celebrities, and other political figures. The toxic political climate created by the left has led to a dangerous escalation of violence and hatred, and it is time for them to take responsibility for their actions.

President Trump has consistently called for calm and unity during this election season, while his opponents have stoked fear and division. It is clear that Wimbish’s actions were not those of a Trump supporter, but rather a disturbed individual who was driven to extreme measures by the constant attacks on our democracy.

We must stand together as Americans and denounce acts of violence and intimidation, regardless of political affiliation. Our democracy is sacred, and we must protect it at all costs. The arrest of Nicolas Wimbish should serve as a warning to those who seek to disrupt our electoral process – they will be caught and brought to justice.
