Kayleigh McEnany might be the last great White House Press Secretary we will see. At least for the next four years. It looks like she’s settled in nicely in her new role as a Fox News contributor but I’m almost sure this is just a stepping stone to her next big adventure. In the meantime, Fox is lucky to have her because the public has, as a whole, lost faith in the media giant after watching them flop around over the last four years.
While responding to another Biden ‘no show’ McEnany says she warned journalists this was going to happen. We are now over two months into a Biden presidency and he has yet to hold a solo press conference. I think with Trump, the press was spoiled with almost constant contact with the president but then Biden came on to the scene and mums the word.
“I actually warned some of the reporters there in the press corps. In the waning days of the Trump administration, he didn’t do as much press availabilities every day as he walked to [Marine One] or those press conferences,” McEnany told Fox.
Adding, “I said to the correspondents, ‘You’re getting a little taste of what it will be like in the Biden administration.’ I said I wouldn’t expect to see much of him. We haven’t. We’re still waiting on that solo press conference, we’re still waiting for the day, apparently by the end of the month.”
I wouldn’t hold my breath…
Instead of hearing from the current president, Americans have gotten nothing but Jen Psaki, the new White House Press Secretary, who spends the majority of her time at the podium making snarky remarks and avoiding questions. She’s become the ‘circle back’ lady by promising reporters that she would provide an answer to their many questions at another time.

McEnany was always prepared to answer questions during her time at the White House but now it seems, much like the American people, Biden, and his handlers, have left Psaki in the dark on most topics. That, or she is incredibly bad at her job. Like, really bad.
