NSBA Pays For Their Huge Mistake In Calling Parents Terrorists

Looks like they got what they deserve. The National School Board Association had the gall to call parents that were complaining about CRT terrorists. The NSBA sent a letter to A.G. labeling these parents as domestic terrorists who were constantly “harassing” teachers for teaching Critical Race Theory. And the worrying thing here is that A.G. Garland was mobilizing the FBI to take on these parents, that were doing nothing more than expressing their concerns, without any evidence outside of the letter. But the NSBA’s letter found its way to a congressional hearing, and it turns out many states were not on board with the NSBA’s stance. So many states have left the organization, and now it looks like they are in a bad way financially.

The NSBA later apologized. The mea culpa, however, did not stop more than one dozen state education boards from withdrawing support from the NSBA.”

“…At least 17 states have withdrawn support for the NSBA, cutting off the organization from a significant reservoir of funding.”

The 17 state associations that have cut ties with NSBA collectively paid $1.1 million in annual dues to the organization in 2019, according to NSBA records submitted at a recent Florida School Boards Association meeting.

  • That was about 42% of the $2.6 million in dues payments it got from state school boards associations that year, and $1 of every $8 in total dues revenue.
  • The group gets more dues income directly from school districts, with more than 1,200 providing nearly $5.3 million this year, according to NSBA records. Like the state associations, some of those districts also have severed ties with the group this fall.
  • The $1.1 million figure likely undercounts state associations’ financial support, which also includes contributions related to NSBA conferences and events.
  • The Montana School Boards Association, for instance, initially budgeted for $68,000 in 2021-22 dues payments. But it estimated its total financial commitment to be much higher, at nearly $160,000. It voted last month to leave the NSBA.

An NSBA spokesperson told Axios the 2019 numbers “do not reflect the complete or current state of affairs for NSBA” but declined to elaborate.”

Parents across the country were about to be arrested by the FBI over this slanderous letter. The NSBA should go under for this. There is no telling how many lives they were about to ruin just because they want to push their racially divisive CRT curriculum.
