NYC Firefighter Tells Pro-Palestine Protester to ‘Go back to f*cking Palestine’
A New York firefighter confronted a pro-Palestine demonstrator near the Ground Zero 9/11 ceremony on Friday in a heated exchange caught on video.
The protester was wearing an Elmo costume with a Palestinian flag draped across his back. The firefighter responded with a blunt message.
“Go back to f*cking Palestine, you f*cking anti-American motherf*cker!” the firefighter shouted.
He repeated the demand moments later.
“Go back to f*cking Palestine! We don’t want you here!”
The firefighter also told the demonstrator to take several prominent Democratic figures with him, naming former President Barack Obama, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul.
“And take f*cking Obama, take f*cking Mamdani with you, and f*cking AOC and Hochul! Take them all! They’re all no f*cking good!” he said.
The confrontation continued as the firefighter made his position clear.
“You’re all no f*cking good! You’re no f*cking good! That’s right! Nice job, pal.”
The footage was shared by Frontlines TPUSA. The Gateway Pundit reported that Obama, Mamdani, Ocasio-Cortez, and Hochul were all in attendance at the 9/11 ceremony that morning.
Mamdani’s appearance had reportedly drawn opposition from family members of people killed in the attacks. A petition calling for him to be barred from the event had more than 100,000 signatures, according to the report.
Families of 9/11 victims also held a press conference earlier in the week in a final effort to keep Mamdani away from the memorial honoring their loved ones. Critics pointed to what they described as his lack of understanding of the attack, his affiliations with America-hating jihadists and terrorist sympathizers, and his alleged effort to make the ceremony about himself.
The report further alleged that Mamdani showed disrespect during the ceremony. At one point, he was reportedly caught on camera laughing with Ocasio-Cortez while the names of the victims were being read aloud.
That moment added another layer of outrage for families and observers who viewed the ceremony as a solemn remembrance of the dead. Instead of focusing only on the victims, the event became part of a larger political fight over Mamdani’s presence and the response from those attending.
The firefighter’s outburst reflected that anger in the most direct terms possible. His comments targeted the protester in the Elmo costume while also condemning the elected officials he associated with the event.
