It’s no secret that the corporate media loves to paint President Biden in a positive light, no matter the circumstances. So, it’s no surprise that they’re trying to sweep his document scandal under the rug.
The Biden administration has admitted that 12 documents were found in Biden’s office, some of which were classified. This is the same amount of documents that were found in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago incident, yet Democrats are calling for charges to be pressed against Trump while the Biden-friendly media continues to downplay the severity of the situation.
On the Thursday edition of MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, host Nicolle Wallace attempted to summarize the story: “In November, President Biden’s lawyers found less than a dozen documents in an office he used in Washington and turned them over to the National archives. That’s about it.”
One of the most outrageous comments came from disgraced former FBI operative Andy McCabe on CNN who said “The distinctions between how [Biden] and his team have handled this, and how President Trump and his lawyers handled the situation at Mar-A-Lago could not be more distinct, right? It’s, it’s — it’s night and day.”
These comments are not only absurd, but they are also extremely insulting. This scandal is far more serious than the Biden-friendly media wants us to believe. After all, Special Counsel John Durham has been appointed to investigate the matter. This appointment alone calls into question the narrative that the Biden document scandal is “not the sort of thing you need a Special Counsel for.”
It’s clear that the corporate media is trying to protect Biden, no matter the cost. But we can’t let them get away with it. The American people deserve to know the truth about this document scandal, and the corporate media’s attempts to downplay it are wrong and need to be called out.
