Let’s face it, to say that free speech is under attack would be a gross understatement. From the Twitter Files revelations to the Democrats embracing censorship and control, it’s clear that our right to free speech is being threatened.
It’s becoming more and more apparent that the Democrats have completely reversed their stance on this issue and are now complicit in big tech censorship. Personally, I can say I’ve seen this type of corruption going back to at least the Clinton days when the Clintons paid to run their propaganda on radio stations.
So, yeah… Democrats have long abandoned the concept of free speech.
The recent interview between Maria Bartiromo and Matt Taibbi is a prime example of this. Taibbi, who identifies as a Democrat, expressed his disappointment with the party’s abandonment of free speech. He said, “I was raised in a traditional ACLU liberal, I believed in free speech all my life. That was one of the things, frankly, that attracted me to the Democratic Party when I was a kid, the idea that we were the party that believed in letting everybody have a say, and we’ll just make a better argument, and that’s how the system works.”
It’s clear that the Democrats have yet to come up with any real solutions to the problem. They’ve offered lip service and empty rhetoric, but no concrete solutions. It’s become increasingly evident that the Democrats are complicit in big tech censorship, and this is extremely concerning.
In order to protect our right to free speech, we must take action. It’s important to speak out against this corruption and fight for our right to free speech. Journalists like Matt Taibbi are a reminder of how much work there is to be done to protect free speech, and that’s why we must continue the fight.
We must also call out the Democrats for their hypocrisy. They claim to stand for free speech, but they’ve done nothing to stop the suppression of speech by big tech companies. They’ve enabled censorship, and this has to end. We must hold our elected officials accountable and demand real solutions to this problem.
It’s time to stand up for free speech. We cannot allow the Democrats to continue to get away with this hypocrisy. We must speak out and fight for our right to free speech by getting out and voting when the opportunity allows—For as long as we have the right to.
I know I sound like a broken record on voting and I have met many who don’t believe the system works but guys, politicians wouldn’t be so afraid of free speech and safe voting practices if it was a completely corrupted system.
Use it or risk losing it.
