Trump Snaps Back With Blistering Response to Biden’s Debate Challenge [Video]

President Donald Trump wasted no time in responding to Joe Biden’s challenge to debate him, stating that he is “ready to rumble.” However, while Trump eagerly accepted the challenge, Biden’s camp is shying away from the idea and even proposing alternative rules and networks for the debates they do agree to.

Trump fired back at Biden’s claim that he lost two debates in 2020, calling him the “WORST debater” Trump has ever faced. He also criticized Biden’s record as president, labeling him as the “WORST President in the history of the United States” and pointing out several issues such as the open border policy, EV mandates, inflation, high taxes, and weak foreign policy.

Despite Biden’s challenge for two debates, the Biden campaign has stated that they will not participate in three debates organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates. This move has been seen as a way for the Biden campaign to dodge potential debates as Trump’s lead in the polls, including those in swing states, continues to grow.

The Biden campaign’s proposal for a June debate comes as no surprise, aiming to counter Trump’s momentum in the polls. However, their proposed rules have not been fully accepted by the Trump campaign. The Biden camp is pushing for specific networks to host the debates, including CBS News, ABC News, CNN, and Telemundo. They also want the debates to be held in a TV studio with no live audience present.

The proposed rules from the Biden campaign also suggest firm time limits and alternate turns to speak, to promote an “exchange of views” rather than a “spectacle of mutual interruption.” They also want the candidate’s microphones to only be activated when it is their turn to speak.

Trump, on the other hand, has made it clear that he is open to more than just two debates and has even suggested a larger venue for “excitement purposes.” He also believes that the debates should be held with an audience and criticized Biden for being “afraid of crowds,” claiming it is because he does not have a strong following.

It is evident that there is a stark contrast between the two candidates when it comes to debating. While Biden is pushing for specific rules and networks to his advantage, Trump is open to debating in any setting and believes that the American people deserve to see them go head-to-head on key issues. As Trump said in his response, “Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!” It remains to be seen if the two candidates will actually face off in the proposed debates, but one thing is for sure, Trump is ready and willing to take on Biden.
