Former Harris campaign surrogate Lindy Li spoke out on Fox News on Saturday, slamming the Vice President’s campaign for “misleading” her and other donors who raised millions for her presidential bid.
Li, who had raised millions for Harris’s campaign, described it as an “epic disaster” and a “one-billion-dollar disaster.” She expressed her disappointment and frustration at the campaign’s lackluster performance and the mismanagement of funds.
Li revealed that she and her donors were promised by Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon that the Vice President would win, which led to them writing “massive checks” in support. However, as the election results proved, the campaign failed to deliver on its promises.
“I feel like a lot of us were misled,” Li told Fox News co-host Will Cain.
Li also criticized the ongoing “backstabbing” and “leaking” within Harris’s team, which she believes has been going on for a long time. She mentioned the high turnover of staff and reports in the press about the dysfunction within the campaign.
However, Li’s surprise turned into shock when President Joe Biden immediately endorsed Harris as his running mate. She believes that this was a direct expression of the President’s anger towards the Democratic Party and their handling of the election.
“I really think it was a big ‘F-you’ to the party,” Li said with emotion, catching herself before finishing the statement.
After all the chaos and disappointment, Li believes that Harris’s selection as VP was not based on merit but rather a political statement. “Kamala Harris wasn’t at the top of the ticket,” she remarked.
Li’s statements on Fox News shed light on the failures and mismanagement of Harris’s campaign, which ultimately resulted in a crushing defeat. Her words not only expose the dysfunction within the campaign but also raise questions about Harris’s leadership and ability to lead at the highest level.

As the shockwaves of Li’s revelations continue to reverberate, it is clear that the Harris campaign’s failures cannot be ignored. With her poor performance and lack of support, it calls into question whether Harris is truly fit to be the Vice President of the United States.
