Watch: Kennedy Brutally Exposes Kamala Harris as Surging ‘Loon’

GOP Senator John Kennedy appeared on Fox News Monday to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ involvement in President Joe Biden’s proposal for Supreme Court reform. Kennedy claimed that the proposal was actually Harris’ idea, and that she was using Biden as a shield in case there was backlash.

“It’s very strange that the vice president would choose to take the lead on this issue, especially since it’s about abortion,” Kennedy stated. He went on to suggest that Harris is seen as “a little bit of a ding-dong” by many Americans and that she is not taken seriously.

Fox News host Neil Cavuto challenged Kennedy’s characterization of Harris, pointing out that she has seen a surge in popularity since she joined the Biden campaign. He warned Kennedy that attacking Harris and focusing on her laugh and former President Trump’s insults could backfire for Republicans.

“That member of the loon-wing is now dead even with Donald Trump in one [battleground] state after another,” Cavuto stated. “Now, I’m not saying that might last. I am saying that this loon is surging, and if the Republican approach to her is to treat her like a loon and a cackle, and she is just an empty suit, I wonder how far that’ll go.”

But Kennedy remained firm in his belief that Harris is seen as a “loon” by many Americans and that this perception is reflected in the polls. “I’m just telling you what the people of America think,” he stated.

Cavuto pushed back, arguing that attacking Harris in this way could ultimately harm the Republican party in the polls. He urged Kennedy to consider the potential consequences of their approach to Harris.

“I’m telling you what I think the American people think right now based on the polling that I’ve seen,” Kennedy responded.

However, the most recent Wall Street Journal general election poll released on Saturday shows that Trump is leading Harris by two points, according to RealClearPolling. This demonstrates that Trump is still a strong contender for the 2024 election, and that the American people may not be as enamored with Harris as some believe.

As the conversation between Kennedy and Cavuto continued, it became clear that their differing views on Harris and the best approach to take towards her were rooted in their support for different political parties.
