Watch: Reporter Gets Snippy At KJP’s Lame Excuse For Biden’s Contributions In Ireland

Joe Biden recently took a highly personal trip to Ireland with his sister Valerie and son Hunter. The trip was to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. Even though the President and his family often emphasize their Irish heritage, the question of whether or not the Biden family had paid for their own airfare and accommodations on the trip still remain unanswered.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked to address the matter during a press briefing, where she claimed that the President and his family followed all necessary protocols for traveling abroad with family members, and that the family had paid for their own way. However, it appears that the Biden administration is still not being transparent about the financial contributions the family made towards the trip.

When pressed on the issue, Jean-Pierre failed to provide a concrete answer on the financial contributions the Biden family made towards their trip to Ireland. Her statement only served to further raise questions about what exactly the President and his family paid for, and how much of the trip was funded by taxpayers.

The lack of transparency from the Biden administration is concerning and is a cause of concern for many. Taxpayers have a right to know how their money is being used, and the President should be willing to provide the public with a clear answer on the financial contributions his family made towards their Ireland trip.

What’s more, the President and his family should be held to the same standards of transparency and accountability as other public officials. It is not acceptable that the Biden administration is failing to provide the public with a clear answer on this matter.

Until Biden and his family are willing to be transparent about their financial contributions, Americans will continue to question the integrity of the administration.
