WATCH: Smirking Debater Takes a Hard Fall After Trying to Humiliate YouTuber Fred Beyer

A debate prank took an unexpected turn when a woman appeared to have the last word against comedian and YouTuber Fred Beyer—then fell hard while returning to her chair.

Beyer, who describes himself as a comedian and troll and has more than 2 million YouTube subscribers, posted a video titled “20 Karens vs. 1 Troll.” The setup was simple. He suggested that people without jobs should have to pay an unemployment tax.

The proposal was meant to provoke the participants. It worked.

About nine minutes into the video, one woman decided to take on Beyer. She repeatedly mocked him, questioned his intelligence, and tried to make him look foolish during the exchange.

At one point, she appeared convinced that she had delivered a decisive answer. She smirked, walked back toward her chair, and received applause from the room.

Then, as she tried to sit down, she fell from the chair.

The source account says the woman was physically okay afterward, but describes the moment as a bruising blow to her confidence. Beyer was also reportedly the only person who rushed to help her. The others remained seated.

The exchange leading up to the fall included this back-and-forth:

WOMAN: Boy, I wish you would ask me what I would do in a dark alley with three men.
BEYER: What would you do?
WOMAN: Depends on what they’re packing.
BEYER: What the…
WOMAN: On this topic, I want to know what you’re smoking, sweetheart, because I could make money.
BEYER: TikTok pack.
WOMAN: You called me up because I just shouted out…Because it has been done before.
BEYER: When has it been done?
WOMAN: Your education is showing, honey. Have you ever heard of something called debtor’s prison?
BEYER: Is that like the gulag?
WOMAN: Bingo! Light bulb! Congratulations! Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

After delivering that final line, the woman walked away from the debate while smirking. The apparent victory lasted only until she reached the chair.

A post on X described the incident as a fall that happened after Beyer “RAGEBAITED” the woman with the unemployment-tax proposal. The clip shows the exchange and the moment she loses her balance while trying to sit down.

Beyer saved another reveal for the end of the full video. He explained that the debate was a prank and that the unemployment-tax proposal was designed to get a rise out of the participants.
