Psaki Can’t Answer Simple Question About Abortion Amid Liberal Tantrum Over Catholic Views

I find it laughable that the left is so blown away by the idea that the Catholic church frowns upon abortions— But here we are. They’re up in arms over the Church’s decision on whether they should continue to offer Biden holy communion despite his over-the-top abortion policies. Some Democrats are calling it a ‘political move’ which made me chuckle.

Political? What garbage. The church, like most Christian faith organizations, has a long-standing against infanticide. The fact that the church Biden attends is simply questioning its obligations to its members, faith, and God proves they’re struggling to navigate the new world.

During A White House press briefing, Press sec Jen Psaki shot down any attempts to get a straight answer from her. When asked “Does the President believe that a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being?”, Psaki implemented her evasion techniques.

“Does the President believe that a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being?” a reporter asked.

Psaki immediately dodged the question by pretending that the reporter had asked a different question.

“Are you asking me if the President supports a woman’s right to choose?” Psaki asked. “He does.”

Psaki then immediately called on another reporter, but wait… This question would, in fact, circle back on here. That’s where things get interesting.

But first, watch:

The question comes as “U.S. Catholic bishops overwhelmingly approved the drafting of a ‘teaching document’ that many of them hope will rebuke Catholic politicians, including President Joe Biden, for receiving Communion despite their support for abortion rights,” USA Today reported. “The result of the vote – 168 in favor and 55 against – was announced Friday near the end of a three-day virtual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.”

It didn’t end there, the cold-natured press sec was hit again later by a reporter trying to narrow down Biden’s plan:

“Well Joe Biden is a strong man of faith, Psaki declared. Adding,  “And as he noted, just a couple of days ago, it’s personal. He goes to church, as you know, nearly every weekend, he even when when we were on our overseas trip, but it’s personal to him. He doesn’t see it through a political prism. And we’re not going to comment otherwise on the inner workings of the Catholic Church.

REPORTER: [inaudible] … statements by the bishops make the president reconsider his public support for policies that increase access to abortion or allow access to abortion?

PSAKI: Well again, the President’s faith is personal. It’s something that has helped guide him through some challenging moments in his life. And that’s how many Americans see their faith as well, not through a political prism. So I would suspect he will continue to attend church as he has for many, many years.

I have to give it to here, she is trying like hell to keep up the appearance that Biden is a moderate Dmeocrat— She’s failing miserably, but deserves an ‘E’ for effort.
