The hosts of “The View” seem to have lost all hope for Joe Biden’s reelection bid, amidst an increasing number of Democrats calling for him to step down. Co-host Joy Behar expressed her doubt about Biden’s chances, stating, “I think he’s gonna drop out now. … When Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, and Jeffries all say it’s time to go, you know the end is near.” Similarly, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed, arguing that a new nominee could energize Democratic and independent voters and defeat former President Donald Trump.
Even co-host Sunny Hostin, who criticized the apparent leaked conversations between Biden and Democratic leaders, ultimately acknowledged that the decision to step down is Biden’s alone. It seems that even his own party may not have faith in his ability to win the election.
In fact, at least twenty congressional Democrats have spoken out against Biden’s reelection campaign, citing his disastrous debate performance as the reason for doubt. The former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi herself has dodged questions about whether Biden should remain in the race. These actions speak volumes about Biden’s perceived weaknesses and the belief that he may not be capable of taking on Trump.
It’s no surprise that polls have consistently shown a majority of voters have concerns about Biden’s age and mental fitness for the presidency. In a recent AP/NORC poll, 65% of Democrats even agreed that Biden should drop out and allow someone else to take the nomination.
Despite attempts to prove his competence, such as with his July 11 press conference and numerous sit-down interviews, Biden continues to make gaffes and struggles to maintain a coherent train of thought. It’s concerning that a candidate who can’t even speak confidently and clearly would be expected to lead our nation.
On the other hand, President Trump has shown time and time again that he is capable of leading our country. Whether it’s through his strong economic policies or his firm stance on national security, Trump has consistently put America first. He has also shown resilience and determination in the face of constant attacks and adversity, proving that he is a capable leader who can weather any storm.

Biden’s lackluster and often confusing performance only reinforces the fact that he may not be the best candidate to take on Trump. It’s time for Democrats to face the reality and put their support behind a stronger, more competent candidate. As the election nears, the stakes are too high to gamble on a weak and uncertain nominee like Biden. President Trump is the clear choice to lead America into the future.
