Denzel Washington Slaps Down Toxic Liberal Narrative

Usually celebrities out of Hollyweird are so liberal it’s almost painful to listen to their radical opinions. But Denzel Washington is a breath of fresh in comparison. When asked by the MSM about diversity he had a similar opinion to Morgan Freedman in that we should not be worrying about it.

In a roundtable interview with NBC BLK (’s section devoted to the African-American perspective) and various corporate news outlets, Washington claimed he thinks that “diversity shouldn’t even be mentioned.”

“You know, in my humble opinion, we ought to be at a place where diversity shouldn’t even be mentioned like it’s something special,” the actor told the outlet. “These young kids — Black, white, blue, green or whatever — are highly talented and qualified. So that’s why they’re there.”

Of course, that’s a powerful reminder of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Dream” just one day after MLK Day. Recall how the freedom fighter famously stated, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Washington commented about this in 2016 as well…

He didn’t sympathize with #OscarsSoWhite at the time, saying, “If you’re looking for an excuse, you’ll find one. Is race the excuse? You can find it wherever you like.”

“Can’t live like that,” he added. “Just do the best you can do.”

Exactly. Diversity should not be a forced thing. You see liberals in almost every profession are trying to force diversity complaining when there are more white people than minorities.

But there should be more white people in most professions. White people still make up the majority of Americans. But libs don’t want to have that argument.

Chicago’s Mayor Lightfoot is a prime example of this. Last year she got caught discriminating against white people. She told the press that she would only take interviews with POC. But when asked if that was her official position she suddenly had a change of heart.
