Royal Commentator OWNED Don Lemon After He Demanded Reparations From The Crown LOL

Don Lemon has fallen from from grace at CNN after building his career on stoking racial tensions and forming political bias. Well, in a rare interview with a British royal commentator, Hillary Fordwich, Lemon demanded that the crown pay operations.

I didn’t go over well for him…

“England is facing rising costs of living, a living crisis, austerity budget cuts, and so on. And then you have those who are asking for reparations for colonialism, and they’re wondering, you know, $100 billion, $24 billion here and there, $500 million there,” Lemon explained. “Some people want to be paid back, and members of the public are wondering, ‘Why are we suffering when you are, you know, you have all of this vast wealth?’ Those are legitimate concerns.”

Initially, Fordwich gave the impression that she agreed with Lemon, but in a quick twist, she schooled him royally.

“Well, I think you’re right about reparations in terms of if people want it, though, what they need to do is you always need to go back to the beginning of a supply chain,” Fordwich replied. “Where was the beginning of the supply chain? That was in Africa, and when it crossed the entire world, when slavery was taking place, which was the first nation in the world that abolished slavery? The first nation world to abolish it, it was started by William Wilberforce, was the British. In Great Britain, they abolished slavery.”

She continued, “Two thousand naval men died on the high seas trying to stop slavery. Why? Because the African kings were rounding up their own people, they had them on cages waiting in the beaches. No one was running into Africa to get them. And I think you’re totally right.”

Her history lesson continued:

“If reparations need to be paid, we need to go right back to the beginning of that supply chain and say, ‘Who was rounding up their own people and having them handcuffed in cages?’ Absolutely. That’s where they should start. And maybe, I don’t know, the descendants of those families where they died at the, in the high seas trying to stop the slavery, that those families should receive something too, I think, at the same time.”

After she was done, Lemon visibly shocked, “It’s an interesting discussion, Hillary, Thank you very much, I appreciate it.”

Call me crazy, but I don’t think this is how Lemon expected the conversation to go. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. Lemon is with the crew that believe history can be invented out of whole cloth, like the 1619 Project. His premise is the Queen had so much wealth – she owes it for slavery reparations, etc etc. When confronted with facts that showed he was conflating so many things, he blew it off with “Interesting discussion….”
He will revisit the topic with an American progressive to reassure himself that he is right

  2. i think it was hilarious. i mean where do they want to start with reparations. she was right on. it was their own kings selling them into slavery and also captured slaves from other tribes. just about ebery country on this planet has had slaves at one time or another. get them to pay reparations

  3. YEP! Good ole Don Lemon is a true genius at putting his mouth in gear before his brain is engaged. He thinks those evil white men went storming into the jungles of Africa and captured any black person they could find and put them in chains and transported them to slave buyers (some of whom were black)all over the Americas and Caribbean. His IGNORANCE is only exceeded by his STUPIDITY!

  4. I think reparations should be paid to slaves. Slavery was outlawed in this country right after the Civil War. That would make anyone owed reparations at least 170 years old. How much do I get for my ancestor who died in the Civil War. He was shot in northern Va and it took 3 months for him to die from his wounds.
