Trudeau Get’s Scolded By Xi At G20 Summit, Runs Away Like A Child

How humiliating for Canada… Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was caught on camera getting scolded by the Chinese president, Xi Jinping for leaking their conversation to the press. I’m almost sure this was originally caught on camera to make Trudeau seem ‘rough’ but it definitely didn’t go as planned if that’s true.

The interaction took place on Wednesday at the G20 world leaders summit. Xi was clearly angry at the PM for prematurely blabbing about their talks the day before.

“Everything we discussed has been leaked to the paper. That’s not appropriate,” Xi told Trudeau at the G20 leader’s summit in Bali, according to video of the discussion. “And that’s not the way the conversation was conducted…if there is sincerity on your part…we would conduct good communications with a mutually respectful manner. Otherwise, the results would be hard to tell.”

Canadian media reported that Xi and Trudeau spoke on Tuesday, at which point the Canadian prime minister raised “serious concerns” about China’s alleged interference in Canadian affairs.

Trudeau studdered in his reply to Xi on Wednesday saying, “In Canada, we believe in a free and open and frank dialogue. We will continue to have…We will continue to work constructively together but there will be things that we will disagree on…”

“Let’s create the conditions first,” Xi replied, cutting Trudeau off before just walking away.

Watch

World leaders met for the G20 summit this week and Trudeau’s interaction with the Chinese president has to be the weakest display of leadership I have seen so far. Considering the US has Biden at the helm, that’s saying a lot.

According to National Review, Beijing and Ottawa have had an icy relationship since Canada arrested a senior executive of China’s Huawei Technologies, Meng Wanzhou, in 2018 on behalf of the U.S. China later imprisoned two Canadians on spying charges. All three were released last year.

Something interesting; this is just speculation, but do you see the sandy-blonde-haired woman in the photos below? That is Katie Telford, Trudeau’s Chief of Staff. If you watch closely, it seems like this was a sort of set-up to catch Trudeau ‘talking tough’ with Xi that went awry. Before Trudeau runs out of the room completely, it appears as if he was about to come crying to her when she signals him to keep moving, glancing at the camera a few times after.

Again, it’s just speculation and I could be completely wrong here. Watch the video again and let me know what you see.

My last thoughts on this interaction are; Body language means everything and this is not a good look for the Prime Minister. Also, does Trudeau not own a dark suit? He looks like he’s rushing off to catch the limo for prom.
