Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican Senator, has been an outspoken critic of Joe Biden and it’s easy to see why. The Democratic president has seemingly fallen asleep at the wheel and chosen to do absolutely nothing about both national and international issues like border security, unemployment, and now the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Graham condemn Biden for not taking a stronger stance to defend the American ally, Israel and explained that Biden has ‘no game plan’, to help soothe tensions in the middle east.
“I think Israel will keep attacking until it degrades the capability of Hamas to hurt them in the future,” Graham stated. “Once you start these things, I think it’s incumbent upon Israel to do as much damage as they can, to make sure it doesn’t happen again anytime soon, but usually, Egypt helps. But the Biden administration is openly talking about giving the Palestinians more money while rockets rain down on Israel. There is no game plan from the United States, and in my view, to make it end on terms favorable for Israel.”
“I hope the American government will stop pushing Israel to negotiate a two-state solution when one of the partners is Hamas, whose goal is to destroy the existence of the state of Israel,” he added. “I don’t see a two-state solution coming anytime soon until Hamas has been marginalized by the Palestinian people themselves.”
Graham is not alone:
“We witnessed four years of progress toward peace, now shattered by more than a week of unprovoked violence against the people of Israel,” former vice president Mike Pence said Tuesday.
Pence added that the Trump administration’s “commitment to Israel was unrivaled,” while claiming the new administration’s “failures” in the region have invited Hamas’ aggression.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki was defending the Biden administration’s approach to the ongoing violence between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants and maintained that a “two-state solution” is the only option for “lasting” peace in the region.
Psaki told reporters on Tuesday that the Biden administration is “not following the same tactics of the prior administration” with its strategy to de-escalate tensions in the region.
