The Democratic Party and the media establishment are having a tough time selling President Joe Biden to his few remaining supporters. According to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll this month, an unsettling 54 percent of respondents said he lacks “the competence to carry out the job of president” — shocking, considering the party is counting on him to get them votes in the upcoming election year.
This has led to rumors that the party may be attempting to drum up support for another candidate — California Governor Gavin Newsom — to help Biden outweigh the negative press he’s been getting. But Newsom hasn’t done much to help the cause due to the pillaging of his own state.
So who does the Democratic Party have left? Could it be Michelle Obama? This week she flew on Air Force One with President Biden and the Clintons to Rosalynn Carter’s funeral — alone, without Barack Obama. This solo appearance has led some to speculate that she may be the mask behind which her husband is running for president.
Some have speculated that Barack Obama is attempting to fulfill a third term as president, but from behind the scenes. He himself voiced his desire to rule again, and now Michelle’s presence on Air Force One has sparked chatter that a fourth term might be obtained through her.

Despite the buzz, Michelle has publicly announced that she has no plans to run for president. But with the popularity of former President Donald Trump on the rise, and Biden performing so poorly, the Democratic Party and the establishment media may be hard pressed to find a better solution.

It appears that the only way for Obama to get his wish of a third and fourth term may indeed come via his wife, who remains an iconic figure. Despite her 59 years, Michelle still carries a profound amount of popularity and appeal — both of which the Democratic National Committee may be looking to exploit as a last resort.
Whether Michelle Obama will eventually run for president or remain an honorary figure in her husband’s administration, one thing remains certain: the Democratic Party needs a popular candidate in order to secure the votes they will need. This looks to be the way they’re headed…
