MSNBC Guest Snaps ‘Who Is Writing These Scripts?’, Derails Pro-Terrorist Segment

On Monday, Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, took issue with MSNBC’s coverage of the terrorist attack in Israel and went off on Jonathan Lemire, one of the network’s hosts.

“These have been some of the hardest days of my adult life,” Greenblatt said. “I’m angry with a world that allowed the dehumanization of Israelis and sanitized the terrorism of Hamas.” Greenblatt then proceeded to criticize the network for openly sympathizing with Hamas by trying to blame the Israeli people. He3 asked with contempt, “I gotta ask, who is writing the scripts?”

Greenblatt then called out the liberal media for sanitizing Hamas’ terror tactics. Turning towards the camera, he bellowed, “Hamas, the people who did this, they are not fighters Jonathan, they are not militants, and I am looking right at the camera: they are terrorists. It is a barbarian who rapes and brutalizes women, who kills children in front of their parents, and then, brings them over to Gaza.”

The ADL CEO was visibly angered by the mainstream media’s decision to minimize the scope of the conflict. He maintained that the crisis was a planned attack and not a spur of the moment event, saying, “I am sorry, this was a massacre that was pre-planned, this was not destined to happen. It is not normal to shoot teenagers in the back hundreds of them. So I just think, guys, get the story right.”

Greenblatt then expressed his disapproval at the network’s decision to ignore the casualties and terror experienced by the Israelis. He pleaded “Look, for everyone at this network and the viewers: don’t ignore the scenes that you are not seeing on television. Don’t go away when you see where bricks were turned into rockets and the Palestinian people were raped and paraded through the streets of Gaza.”.

He reminded the viewers that violence against the Palestinians and Israelis is equally wrong and must not be tolerated in any shape, size, or form. Not only did he encourage the media to step up their coverage regarding the plight of the Israelis but he also asked that the network stops their liberal messaging and instead provides factual information for the viewers. “So I just think, guys, get the story right.”
